MYKONOS
Known for its nightlife and unrestricted beaches, its international shopping boutiques, and its overall over-the-top atmosphere, Mykonos is also known for its place in Classical Greek literature. It was here that the battle between Zeus and the Titans took place and the island itself was named after Mykons, one of the mythological grandsons of Apollo. For all of its fame, Mykonos Town is still uniquely picturesque with its maze of tiny streets and whitewashed houses neatly gathered around the cafe-lined harbor. We’ll visit the archeological museum, the impressive 14th century church, Panagia Paraportiani, a true Byzantine jewel, and most likely come across one of the town's landmark pelicans!
