SEMESTERS

2018 Spring Semester: March 2 – May 29, 2018

2018 Fall Semester: September 7th – December 4th, 2018

2019 Spring Semester: March 8th – June 4th, 2019

HISA’s comprehensive range of fine and liberal art courses are available in both the spring and Fall semesters. Each course usually carries three credits, and students may take up to 18 units. As many courses are interdisciplinary, the work load is intensive, but not over burdening. Students enrolled in studio art courses are free to work in the gallery, digital lab and darkroom, and the painting studio and until eleven p.m., and later if certain projects require it.

As HISA is designed as an experiential, immersion program, students should expect assignments and projects that involve interaction with the community and the overall environment of Paros. While on the many field trips and excursions, lectures and discussions will be held on site, and art work will be organized to reflect the impressions encountered in exploring the rich artistic and cultural heritage of the Paros, and all the Cycladic islands.
